Wilma grew up in Chemainus and is a third-generation Vancouver islander. She lives in beautiful Maple Bay where she works from her home studio in a charming, fishing cabin on the beach. Wilma loves to create curiously creative collage and assembly artwork featuring original and antique maps, papers and found objects. Wilma likes to combine them in unforeseen ways to create a narrative that gives them new life and relevance.
A visit to her studio is like stepping into a cabinet of curiosities. You will be intrigued.
